Enchanting Animals has over 13 years of experience training domestic and exotic animals. We know that in order to truly enjoy your life with your pet, training is key to creating coexistence and a solid bond. A well trained animal has a richer and fuller life, they are welcome in more places that we go and are happy and confident that they are in synch with their person.
While there are many choices available for those in need of a trainer, not all are created equal. We advise that no matter who you choose to help with your pet, you verify that they are using safe and humane methods. At Enchanting Animals we utilize operant conditioning to get the results you want - this is the same rewards-based training methods used to get raptors to free-fly and dolphins to do synchronized maneuvers. We believe that training should start with a respectful relationship with both you and your pet, an understanding of the goals you wish to achieve, and any factors limiting progress.

Private Obedience Sessions:
We believe that there is “no place like home” when it comes to getting your pet off to the right start or addressing existing problem behaviors. We come to you, and can work around your schedule and availability. Obedience sessions allow us to tailor our time together precisely to address your pet’s needs. These sessions can address anything from chewing, pulling on the leash, potty training, jumping on people, focus, learning new basic commands like “sit” or more complex training goals such as addressing separation anxiety, canine good citizen practice, assistance work, or therapy behaviors.

Private Aggression Sessions
If your dog has shown aggressive behavior to you, another person or another animal, you must move quickly to address this behavior. Aggressive behavior can have many roots, like: fear, hormonal imbalance, neurological condition, sexual frustration, dominance, and others. If your pet is biting, threatening or showing dominance behaviors, you may think that the situation is hopeless. We have the skills, experience and knowledge to fix it!

$100.00 per Session
BOARD & TRAIN
If you plan to be away and need to board your pet, consider our Board & Train option. You will relax in the knowledge that your pet is in expert hands, that are providing for their physical and emotional needs.
Board & Train gives our trainer more time to work one-on-one with your pet. We focus the training sessions around your pet’s specific training goals. This is an ideal way to address problem behaviors or take new behaviors to the next level. We pick your pet up from your home, and return them when you get back.
$45/night for one pet
$20/night each additional pet
Group Classes:
Have a few friends who would like to train your dogs or pot-bellied pigs together? We can offer small group classes for you and your neighbors or other pet pals! Group classes meet once/week for 6 weeks and are $150 per participant. Minimum of 5 participants to book.
