Life Span: In the wild, they can live from 10 to 30 years.
Habitat: Flatwoods and near wetlands in sandy environments.
Native Region: Found in Southeastern U.S., but Erised is native to Asia.

Erised is a Glass Lizard. Glass lizards are also referred to as legless lizards (for obvious reasons). The glass lizard is a carnivore or meat eater. They eat insects, rodents, frogs, lizards and eggs. The glass lizard has no legs, but it does have some features that make it distinguishable as a lizard, such as: head shape, eyelids, ears and lack of fork in its tongue. Some species of glass lizards are native to the Southeastern U.S., but Erised is native to Asia.
